Hardware & Software Requirements

CaseMap 5, TimeMap 3 and earlier, NoteMap and TextMap 3 and earlier require the Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, or Windows NT 4.0 Workstation operating system.

CaseMap 6, CaseMap 7, CaseMap 8, TimeMap 5, TimeMap 4, TextMap 4 and TextMap 5 require Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7. 

CaseMap 9 and TextMap 6 require Windows XP, 2003 Server, 2008 Server, Vista or Windows 7 and Microsoft MSXML v6.0 and above.

TextMap 6 also requires Microsoft .NET 3.5 and above.

Following are the minimum requirements:

• 1 GHz or faster 32-bit(x86) or 64-bit(x64) processor

• 1 GB RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

• 60 MB or more of available disk space

• Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution monitor with 256 colors

Microsoft Internet Explorer® is required for Send to CaseMap functionality from within LexisNexis Web sites.

CaseMap, TimeMap and TextMap also require Microsoft Windows Scripting 5.6, which is pre-installed on most systems. However, it can be disabled or changed by an administrator or other programs, which may cause these products not to run.

TextMap 2 also requires CaseMap.

DepPrep also requires Macromedia Flash Player 7 or later, which is installed with the product if it is not already present on the system.

If your computer runs Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7, it is very likely that it meets all of CaseSoft software requirements.
