FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
TimeMap & Sanction Integration
[PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL – January 28, 2005] - The CaseSoft division of DecisionQuest, a Bowne company, is pleased to announce new seamless integration between TimeMap, and Sanction, by Verdict Systems.
The integration provides significant benefits and new capabilities for users of both products. TimeMap timeline files can be viewed directly in Sanction – plus edits and changes to TimeMap timelines appear immediately in Sanction. All links from the TimeMap timeline to supporting visuals in Sanction are preserved. Users will also be able to build TimeMap timelines by exporting date and event data from Sanction.
These new features are becoming available with the release of Sanction 2.7, which will be rolled out at Legal Tech New York 2005, Jan. 31 – Feb. 2. Sanction integration support will be released in TimeMap 4, a significant new version that will be released shortly thereafter.
“Timeline functionality was the biggest new feature request we’ve had from clients in building our latest update,” explains Verdict Systems Chief Information Officer Mike Hahn. “We looked at developing a timeline feature ourselves, but in examining the architecture of existing tools, we found that TimeMap already offered an extremely solid and time-tested product. It has been honored by numerous industry choice awards and essentially defines the timeline graphing category. It really made sense for us to work together in offering this solution to our clients.”
For current TimeMap users, the new integration will provide a far easier way to put timelines to work in the overall trial or mediation presentation. “This partnership offers CaseSoft clients a great value,” adds Greg Krehel, CaseSoft CEO. “Timelines are only one element of a great trial presentation. Verdict Systems has the rest of the total presentation solution in its wonderful Sanction product. We’re pleased to be partnering with Verdict Systems to provide new functionality that’s not only slick, but a cinch to use.”
Verdict Systems and CaseSoft have negotiated a special price on brand new TimeMap 4 for existing Sanction users, which can be purchased for $129 per user license, a 35% savings.
