CRITICAL INFO— READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING

If Information Systems or Litigation Support staff members at your organization are responsible for obtaining and installing software, please alert them that NoteMap 2 is available, but do not download and install it yourself.

CRITICAL: When you install NoteMap 2 on a machine that has NoteMap 1 on it, NoteMap 2 will replace the existing NoteMap 1 installation. Each installation of NoteMap 2 works for 30 days before requiring activation for further use. Assuming you have purchased an Upgrade or are covered by Support, you can activate your NoteMap 2 installation online seven days a week and 24 hours a day any time during (or after) the 30-day grace period. Just click the Activate button that appears when you start NoteMap 2. If you install NoteMap 2 on a machine that had NoteMap 1 on it, your activation information should already be filled in when you start the activation process.

ALSO CRITICAL: When you use NoteMap 2 to open an existing NoteMap 1 file, the outline file will automatically convert to the new NoteMap 2 format and save in this format going forward. Please note that anyone still using NoteMap 1 will not be able to open the file once it has been converted to the new NoteMap 2 format.
