Announcing - LexisNexis^® CaseMap^® 9

CaseMap 9 responds to client requests for CaseMap case hosting on a Microsoft^® SQL Server^® for centralized and secure remote access to case files, enabling speedy access to case files over a wide area network.

CaseMap 9 lets you manage, organize and connect case facts, legal issues and key players more intuitively and conveniently than ever. The familiar features, navigation and enhanced DocPreviewer integration with PDFs remain the same as in CaseMap Versions 8 and 8.5.

CaseMap 9 has been tuned to work better in the Windows 7 environment and runs on 64 bit Windows® Vista and Windows® 7.

Integrated Research

CaseMap 9 includes the most in depth research integration yet. You can now conduct relevant LexisNexis research and fact investigation directly from CaseMap. You can research organizations, experts, attorneys, judges, arbitrators, mediators and authorities without ever having to leave CaseMap to do so.

Suggested research sources help you make important associations throughout the case that might otherwise be missed. You can quickly conduct relevant searches in an integrated and convenient manner making efficient use of your time and resources. Colleagues can all work in CaseMap-researching, culling and connecting facts at the same time.

Shepard's Integration

With CaseMap 9 you can now monitor changes in your cited cases through integration with Shepard's Citations and alerts.

Shepard's citation signals will automatically update every time you access CaseMap and connect to the Web.

One-Step citation checking in CaseMap 9, helps to ensure authorities (cases, statutes, etc.) are still “good law” before motions, legal arguments, etc are presented.

CaseMap Jumpstart Wizard

The new jumpstart wizard allow lets you quickly input case players, organizations and issues/claims into an easy to use wizard that then automatically fills in the correct spreadsheets with the data you entered. Its now even easier to create new cases while also reducing the learning curve for new users. The wizard provides a step-by-step fast and easy answer to the question, "Where do I start?"
